Member Agency Event – Souper Bowl Sunday

Souper Bowl Sunday

Eden Community Food Bank is inviting your church or faith group to team up to tackle hunger in their Fifth Annual “Souper Bowl Sunday” event on Sunday, February 6th, 2011.

On the same day that many of us will consume too much food and spend so much money on the NFL Super Bowl, the food bank is asking people to think of those less fortunate in our community. Participating churches and faith groups will ask their members to bring a food and/or financial donation  with them on Sunday, February 6th for Eden Community Food Bank. Help is needed and it makes a difference!

Every 20 lbs of food collected will help to provide emergency food relief for one person for seven to ten days. Every $10 donation will help the food bank purchase up to $100 worth of food for hungry families in our community.  For more information on ECFB’s Souper Bowl Sunday and to register your church or faith group to participate, please contact Bill Crawford at 905-785-3651 x4 or bill.crawford@edenfoodbank.org.
