UPDATE – OPP Port Credit Auxiliary “Cram the Cruiser” Food Drive in Mississauga

(Mississauga, ON.) The Ontario Provincial Police (O.P.P.) Port Credit Detachment Auxiliary Unit is pleased to announce their success in the annual “Cram the Cruiser” Food Drive.

Since the campaign began on November 19th, members of the Port Credit Auxiliary Unit have volunteered their time at local Loblaw, Real Canadian Superstore, and No Frill’s grocery store locations to “cram” 54 police cruisers with an estimated 54,000 lbs of non-perishable food and $13,690 in cash donations for The Mississauga Food Bank.

The Mississauga Food Bank is a registered charitable organization that sources, manages, and distributes food to more than 38,000 residents each month through more than 111 food programs, including Mississauga’s seven food banks.
