A huge thanks goes out to the OPP Port Credit Detachment Auxiliary Unit for their amazing work with the annual “Cram the Cruiser” campaign. Community volunteers were at various Mississauga Loblaw grocery store locations each weekend during November and December with hope to cram more than 40 cruisers with donated food in support of The Mississauga Food Bank. In addition, food donations were made at the OPP Port Credit Detachment.

The Mississauga Food Bank is thrilled with the results of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Port Credit Detachment Auxiliary Unit annual “Cram the Cruiser” Food Drive and we look forward to working on it again in 2010! The total funds raised were $17,415 and total food raised was 34,614 lbs.
