The Mississauga Marathon: May 3rd – 4th, 2014

The Mississauga Food Bank is once again a charitable recipient of the Mississauga Marathon.

There is an event for everyone – from a 2K walk to a full marathon. You can register to run in any event and setup an online profile page to raise support on our behalf. Get a team together, have fun and help us reach our $5,000 fundraising goal!

What You Will Get:

  • The first 10 registrants who commit to raising $200 or more will receive FREE registration. Email pamela@themississaugafoodbank.org to get the free registration code.
  • All other fundraisers can register with our charity discount – email pamela@themississaugafoodbank.org to get the discount code for your event.
  • A food bank t-shirt if you raise $100 or more.
  • We’ll have a package of donated goodies for one of our top fundraisers!

Here’s How to Register To Fundraise:

  1. Email pamela@themississaugafoodbank.org to get your free or discounted registration code.
  2. Register for the Mississauga Marathon online by clicking here and select The Mississauga Food Bank as your charity on the registration form.
  3. Customize your page with photos, videos and a personal message. If you want to use some of our materials, just let us know. We’d love it if you shared our new video on your page!
  4. Once your page is complete make sure you send it to friends, family and co-workers to assist you in reaching your fundraising goals.

Already Registered and Want to Join Our Team?

  1. Click here and select the ‘Fundraise’ button beside our name.
  2. Our fundraising page will pop up. Click the red ‘Sign Up’ button to create an account and build your personal fundraising page. You can fundraise on your own, join a fundraising team or create a new one! You will need the registration number provided to you in your original registration email in order to set up your page.
  3. Customize your page with photos, videos and a personal message. If you want to use some of our materials, just let us know. We’d love it if you shared our new video on your page!
  4. Once your page is complete make sure you send it to friends, family and co-workers to assist you in reaching your fundraising goals.

Here’s How to Donate:

  1. Make a donation to The Mississauga Food Bank by clicking here and selecting the ‘Donate’ button beside our name.
  2. Our donation page will pop up. Click the red ‘Give Now’ button.
  3. Enter your contact information and follow the instructions on the page.
  4. Spread the word! Let your friends and family know how they can support The Mississauga Food Bank!
