Food Drives
We need large numbers of volunteers during the spring and fall annual food drives. This is a great opportunity for families to spend time together and to teach their children about giving back to their community. More information can be found at www.mississaugafooddrive.org.
Operations
Help sort and pack the food coming into the warehouse on a daily basis. This includes stocking the shelves so that the food bank has a ready supply for our clients, picking client food orders, and serving clients. (Monday to Thursday). The warehouse is the heart of our operation. Working in the warehouse is an excellent way to learn how a food bank works.

Front Desk Staff
This is a great way to interact with our clients. You can assist in processing and registering clients. Times available are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 12:00 to 3:30pm or Wednesday evening 4:30 to 7:30pm. We also need volunteers to do general office Front Desk duties during regular business hours.
Administration
Help regularly or on an on-call basis with mailings, delivering posters, data entry or other office tasks.
