COMING EVENT: A Night at the Warehouse

A chance to experience The Mississauga Food Bank like never before – from inside the warehouse where tons of food is sorted, inventoried and distributed each month, and experience an unforgettable meal together “food bank-style”.

This annual fundraiser is The Mississauga Food Bank’s signature event, and our goal for this year is to make $100,000. Achieving our goal will allow us to pay for rent and maintenance costs of our warehouse, hydro to keep the lights on and the fridge and freezer cold, repairs on our equipment, and all the shipping boxes for an entire year. So this is an important event to us!

Some of the highlights you can expect at A Night at the Warehouse:

Hors d’Oeuvres buffet
Open Bar all night long
Our amazing Auction with items ranging from jewellery to home decor to gift certificates to sports memorabilia
Dinner will be served “food bank-style” – and that’s all we’ll tell you!
Amazing Dessert buffet
Live Music by the Virgil Scott Band
Great raffle prizes
And lots of surprises!

Schedule:
6:00pm – Hors D’Oeuvres, Open Bar and Silent Auction
7:00pm – Dinner
9:00pm – Dessert, music and grand prize draws

Dress code: Casual

Its a chance to support the food bank. Our numbers continue to grow, and families continue to need our help.
To see behind the scenes of what you’ve been supporting for the past 5 years. Many people have supported us each year, but haven’t yet experienced what the food bank is all about
It’s going to be an unforgettable night. This will be unlike any other fundraiser in Mississauga; it will be casual, lots of fun, great entertainment, lots of surprises – a great night with colleagues and guests.
