Baha’i Community’s Covid-19 Relief Fundraiser
in support of
The Mississauga Food Bank

Dear Friends,

As a personal initiative to commemorate the celebration of the Twin Holy Days of the Birth of the Báb and the Birth of Bahá’u’lláh, the Twin Manifestations of the Bahá’í Faith, friends from the Bahá’í community of Mississauga warmly invite you to participate in a fundraising event to assist those who are in need during this difficult time, for which contributions can be made online

All proceeds from these efforts will go towards purchasing The Mississauga Food Bank’s most needed food items for those in need during these challenging times.

We are indeed grateful for any contribution that you can make to help us reach our goal of $500 and in turn support the communities in Mississauga.

In addition, those who give $10 or more will receive an automatic charitable tax receipt. The tax receipt will be emailed to you immediately, once you have made your contribution.

The Baha’i community would like to share a message from the Writings of Baha’u’llah:

“O CHILDREN OF DUST! Tell the rich of the midnight sighing of the poor, lest heedlessness lead them into the path of destruction, and deprive them of the Tree of Wealth. To give and to be generous are attributes of Mine; well is it with him that adorneth himself with My virtues.” —  Bahá’u’lláh
