Meet Alex, The Mississauga Food Bank’s Agency Relations Co-Op Student:

“I took this position at TMFB because I wanted to get experience working with an organization focused on its communities. Everyone has struggles in life, and a little help here and there can make life that much easier. Besides, we all need to eat.

I am supervising tax refund clinics at various partner food bank/pantry locations to help people file in their taxes accurately and on time. Also, I’m coordinating a usage survey for those same locations to gather information about who uses food banks, for what purpose, and how their experience can be improved.
