One of the most common questions the food bank gets from members of our community is “Who uses the food bank in Mississauga?”
Every time, it is difficult to answer the question. Because the truth is that there is no one single face of hunger in our city. There are over 100,000 parents, seniors and kids in our community who are struggling with poverty.
That’s why we’ve published The Face of Hunger in Mississauga – a special report that will give you a glimpse into the lives of your neighbours who are fighting complex battles against hunger every day.
