Dear Mississauga,
Once again, you have blown us away with your generosity.
At the beginning of the Holiday Season, we told you we needed to raise $500,000 and 225,000 lbs to ensure none of your neighbours would go hungry during the Holidays.
Thanks to your generous gifts of food and funds, the Holiday Drive raised $508,303 and 273,740 lbs of food to feed hungry neighbours in our community!
As we close this campaign that exceeded our hopes and expectations, we are astounded by your capacity for generosity. And we are so thankful.
This year a record number of individuals, faith communities, businesses, and other community partners came together to participate in the drive. And we can’t thank you enough.
We also have to thank the generous sponsors who made the Holiday Drive possible: The Nissan Canada Foundation, Rabba Fine Foods, The Just Energy Foundation and Welbilt Inc.
Thank you for ensuring the children, families, and seniors who rely on the Food Bank could receive the healthy food they need to survive this holiday season.
