Volunteer Spotlight | Patricia Howe

Today we are shining the #spotlight on one of our amazing volunteers, Patricia Howe!

Patricia joined The Mississauga Food Bank a year ago; she was recently retired and looking on the internet for a place to get involved.

“The food bank appealed to me because before I retired, I was one of the teachers running the Breakfast Club and food drives at my school, so I had been involved a bit in the area.”

As a Food Sorting Leader, Patricia loves training new volunteers and working with corporate groups.

“I have met many wonderful, unique, kind, funny, and dedicated people who give their time and care. I get far more than I give every day.”

Patricia, thank you for all you do here at The Mississauga Food Bank!
