Today we are shining the spotlight on Syed, one of our incredible volunteer drivers!

Syed joined The Mississauga Food Bank family 10 months ago. He was not only inspired by the cause but also by how structured the food bank was, which made it easier for him to find time to contribute to his community.

“The timings were right for my busy schedule, and The Mississauga Food Bank was very flexible. The cause of providing food to the hungry is also very dear to my heart.”

Thanks to dedicated volunteer drivers like Syed, we can provide food right to our hungry neighbours’ doorsteps.

“I am part of a team of drivers, and together we are making a huge difference in the community. Everyone is so committed and dedicated that it motivates me to work much harder just like other Food Bank 2 Home volunteer drivers.”
