Please note: A minimum donation of $20 per person is required to participate in this event. This donation will deepen your impact by providing food for neighbours who need it. Every individual must be registered to participate. Please donate here.

A short orientation will be provided to you at the beginning of your volunteer shift.

You’ll be working in our warehouse to sort and pack food according to best-before dates, package integrity, and food type. You will also build, pack, label, scan, and stack food boxes, recycle packaging materials, bale cardboard, etc. Clean-up is done together at the end of the shift. You are required to stand up for 2 to 4 hours at the time, be accurate when sorting, follow instructions well and work as a part of a team.

Children must be 8 years old or older. Volunteers under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Please ensure you wear comfortable closed toe shoes and bring your own reusable bottle of water. Anyone with food allergies, please be advised you will be potentially exposed to all types of food.
