Thanksgiving Contactless Drive-Thru Food Drive

Thanksgiving is upon us! This fall, come together as a family and give back in a safe, fun, and meaningful way!

Join Mayor Crombie’s 2021 Thanksgiving Food Drive and be the reason why everyone has access to healthy food.

We’re hosting our Thanksgiving Contactless Drive-Thru Food Drive on Saturday, October 9, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at 3121 Universal Drive, Mississauga ON.

We will be collecting donations of our most needed food and care items from our Stuff A Turkey – Thanksgiving Word Search, and our Thanksgiving Food Drive.

Safety is our number one priority. We will be following strict COVID-19 safety protocols set by the region. To help us manage with fewer volunteers and support, please follow the instructions below:

  1. For ease of traffic, please turn onto Universal Drive from Dundas Street East.
  2. Follow volunteers’ instructions as they direct you to the back of the Food Bank.
  3. Pull up to an unloading station and remain inside your vehicle at all times with your windows up.
  4. Pop your trunk and wait for a volunteer to unload your generous donation. The volunteer will close your trunk for you once your donation has been received.
  5. Follow volunteers’ instructions as they direct you out of the parking lot.

Thank you for helping us raise $400,000 and 200,000 pounds of food this Thanksgiving.

If you are unable to attend, we welcome you to make a financial donation, or donate food at one of our drop-off locations.

Thank you to Keurig Dr Pepper Canada for sponsoring Mayor Crombie’s 2021 Thanksgiving Food Drive and to our community sponsor Rabba Fine Foods.
