OUR GOAL is to raise $625,000 and 400,000 pounds of food by January 7th.

It’s easy to give your hungry neighbours Food and Hope for the Holidays!

You can support Mayor Crombie’s Holiday Food Drive by:

  1. Taking on Mayor Crombie’s #OneBagChallenge! Donate a bag of food at one of our drop-off locations and challenge your friends to do the same! Check out our list of most needed food items if you need some inspiration of what to put in the bag.
  2. Making a financial donation! Every $1 you donate provides 2 meals.
  3. Organize a food drive and/or fundraiser! Scroll down for more information on how to register your group and what support we can offer.
  4. Spread the word! Follow us on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram and share updates with your friends.

Mayor Crombie's #OneBagChallenge

Mayor Crombie challenges everyone in Mississauga to give food and hope for the holidays by taking the #OneBagChallenge!

Here’s how it works:

  1. Fill a bag (or more!) with nutritious food for your neighbours.
  2. Take a photo or video as you deliver your donation to your local fire station. Or bring it to The Mississauga Food Bank.
  3. Post your photo or video on social media with the hashtag #OneBagChallenge. Don’t forget to tag @BonnieCrombie and @Food_Bank!
  4. Challenge 5 friends to do the same within 48 hours.
