Ismaili CIVIC Food Drive
in support of The Mississauga Food Bank

Ismaili CIVIC is an initiative of the Canadian Ismaili Muslim Community to demonstrate its long- standing commitment to Canada, improve quality of life of all citizens, strengthen our deep-rooted ethics of volunteer service, and exemplify Islam’s core values of peace,
compassion and care for the vulnerable.

Ismaili CIVIC is hosting a virtual food drive in collaboration with the Mississauga Food Bank for Mayor Crombie’s 2021 Thanksgiving Food Drive. Donations will go towards supporting the growing demand on food banks during the global pandemic.

Your gift will provide relief to a child who needs the energy to focus on school, comfort to a senior who is living alone, and warmth to a refugee family who has just arrived in Mississauga. 

 Donations of $10 or more will receive a tax receipt. 

Your donation will help to purchase items for emergency hampers which include non-perishable staples, plus a healthy supply of fresh and frozen perishable items like dairy, eggs, and produce. Items such as diapers, baby formula, and personal care items are also distributed.
