Thorn Lodge Public School’s Ramadan Food Drive
to support The Mississauga Food Bank

Ramadan is a time of year when people voluntarily go without food and drink in daylight hours to show empathy for those who experience hunger on a regular basis. Ramadan is also a time of giving.

Let’s all come together virtually to give back to our community by helping
Thorn Lodge P.S. and The Mississauga Food Bank feed our hungry neighbours.

This past year more than 10,000 children or 333 full classrooms of kids needed support from a food bank in Mississauga.

Since the start of the pandemic, many parents have experienced job losses, reduced hours, and illness due to COVID-19.

On top of paying for rent and utilities, many parents are struggling
to put food on their tables.

Kids should be focused on learning and playing with friends,
not worrying about where their next meal is coming from.

If we come together, we can lend a helping hand to our neighbours in need.

Donations of $10 or more will receive a tax receipt from
The Mississauga Food Bank.

Please donate today to ensure no one in our community is left to go hungry.
