In honour of World Tuna Day, here are seven easy, inexpensive, and healthy recipes that use canned tuna.

Canned tuna is low in calories, an inexpensive source of protein, and is considered to be a good source of omega-3 fatty acids (which are essential dietary fats that are good for your heart, eyes, and brain health!) Canned Tuna also can keep for a long time – some brands can last up to 2-5 years in your pantry. With your financial donations, The Mississauga Food Bank can purchase nutrient-rich food like canned tuna in bulk, directly from manufacturers which helps to avoid the retail markup. Donate today!
