Meet Meghan, The Mississauga Food Bank’s new Executive Director:

“ I started at TMFB in 2009 as the Director of Marketing and Development. From January to June this year, I served as the Interim Executive Director. And just a few weeks ago, I was named permanent Executive Director!

Every day is a new challenge, or an unexpected opportunity. This is what has kept me engaged for the last 9 years.​

​I’m so proud of our team at The Mississauga Food Bank. We have dedicated, passionate staff who work really hard to ensure that we source food and get it out to our neighbours who need it.

Everyone can understand what it means to be hungry, or what it would look like to not be able to afford groceries. I love knowing we help ensure people have food on their tables and giving others an opportunity to give back and help their neighbours.

I take every opportunity to talk about the food bank because I’m proud of our impact in the community and because it gives me a chance to educate someone who might not know there is a food bank in their city.”
