Volunteer Spotlight, Aaron Narag

Meet Aaron Narag, Food Bank 2 Home Volunteer Packer

Today we are shining the spotlight on Aaron Narag, one of our Food Bank 2 Home Volunteer Packers! 🙌

Aaron started volunteering at The Mississauga Food Bank in March, 2020. He decided to volunteer because he believes that vulnerable neighbours in Mississauga deserve a helping hand. “I feel like I am making a huge impact in the community along with the other volunteers. We all love to work productively together and be able to pack food for many families that are in need. Especially during this pandemic, it is even more important to assist the community and leave a positive impact for everyone.”

Working in the Food Bank 2 Home program, Aaron and the team have the opportunity to receive personal notes directly from the neighbours you help support. “One of the families shared that they are a cancer survivor and are very thankful for all the help they have received. Reading that note really brightened me up and motivated me to help out more in the community.” Thank you Aaron for all your hard work and dedication here at The Mississauga Food Bank! 💚
